The layout of this bespoke kitchen extension, made for a family of five works so well. The kitchen is often positioned at one end of a room, but the design focused owners decided to place their kitchen in the middle of their ‘T’ shape room. It creates fantastic pockets of space around the kitchen hub; including a dining area, snug and reading nook / play area. It means that everyone can be in the same ‘room’ but each have their own space. While the chef can prep and cook, someone can be doing artwork at the table, homework at the breakfast bar, nestled on the sofa, playing on the mat or snuggled up reading a book by the fire.
